Sleeping on the side can cause wrinkles.
In part true.
Although it may seem far-fetched, sleeping on your side can actually lead to wrinkles. When sleeping in this position, mechanical stress and easy distortion can occur. HOWEVER, when we talk about wrinkles, we are not talking about the little crow's feet or expression wrinkles that we usually see develop with age. It is more a question of longitudinal wrinkles which follow the surface of contact between the skin and the pillow. In the long run, this could "weaken" some weak spots in the skin. There are pillows that would be designed to relieve the pressure applied to the face in this position, but honestly, we do not believe this is worth the investment. At the end of the day, a good night's sleep, no matter what position, is always beneficial. Do not worry too much with the appearance of sleep wrinkles. Good night :)
